Marieke Slovin Lewis, PhD, is a Seattle-based participatory artist who writes music using a collaborative method of songwriting she co-created called Story-to-Song (STS).

Participants

Five women will learn through the process of writing a song from their experiences participating in the Caminando Juntos program with CHWCMR. Together, they will explore themes that arise from the women's stories, choosing one that will be shaped into a chorus that is repeated between verses that weave together the women's stories..
