Emergency Seasonal Preparedness Program
with Northsound ACH
This program focuses on strengthening community resilience during seasonal emergencies such as winter storms, heatwaves, and flooding. It supports vulnerable populations—including seniors, low-income families, individuals with disabilities, and children—by distributing essential supplies like hygiene items, warm clothing, and emergency kits. Through community outreach and partnerships, the program helps over 100 families stay safe, prepared, and supported during challenging conditions.
Many of the households served come from diverse backgrounds, including Latinx, Asian, African, Russian, and Ukrainian communities.

The Seasonal Emergency Preparedness program is to assist communities in the North Sound and Yakima region sin better preparing for seasonal emergencies such as storms, extreme cold, and flooding. The program focused on supporting vulnerable populations, including low-income families, communities of color, and other groups disproportionately affected during emergencies. Through outreach and distribution efforts, we aimed to ensure that community members had access to essential supplies and information to stay safe and prepared.
