Face to Face Workshop

CHWCMR developed a curriculum including presentation slides and an illustrated booklet, in English and Spanish, on the importance of getting involved to reduce waste, control litter, and increase recycling and composting at home.n Then we conducted two focus groups with ten community health workers each to receive, assess, and improve the curriculum and surveys.

We conducted a pilot workshop on the curriculum for twenty-one participants in January 2023.

Recyling and Composting among Latinx 2022

The goal of the Recycling and Composting program is to help the public with litter control, waste reduction, recycling, and composting.

Through this program we will learn the importance of recycling, how to separate waste, what to do with items that we no longer use, and how to compost at home.
