UBER HEALTH PROGRAM
CHWCMR & LISC join forces so you can get vaccinated
CHWCMR identified that one of the main barriers Migrants and Refugees communities face is lack of access to getting the vaccine against COVID-19 is transportation. So, we're now offering free rides to and from the point of vaccination for everyone who wants to get vaccinated in Washington state. This program runs from June 2021 to June 2022.

In the last period from April to June 2022, we worked intensely through our CHWs, partnerships, and social media so that more people can receive the COVID-19 vaccine. We helped 34 people (Adults and kids) get vaccinated through UBER.
During the entire period of the grant, we managed to get 994 people vaccinated against COVID-19, which prevented the spread of 9,940 people.

January to March, 2022
In 2022, CHWCMR continues to offer free UBER services for all those who want to go get vaccinated against COVID-19. In addition, we have helped find vaccination centers, get appointments for the vaccine and provided stipends of $50 for each vaccine.
During this period we have managed to get at least 99 people to receive the COVID-19 vaccine.
CHWCMR participated in two mobile vaccination clinics where the people received the COVID-19 vaccine and a stipend of $50 each.
The first COVID-19 clinic was held in Edmonds on Feb. 23rd, 2022. The target population were Latinx and Chinese/Asian individuals. The second COVID-19 clinic was held in Everett on March 9th, 2022. We worked with another 501c3 organization. The target population were Latinx refugees and migrants.
Our CHWs developed new flyers to encourage people to get vaccinated and to promote mobile vaccination clinics.
CHWCMR continues to share updated information about COVID-19 and to promote the vaccine through our radio programs in Los Originales CHW radio.
We also include our flyers in our weekly and monthly newsletter with a total of 1,121 subscribers.
