CHWCMR is proud to support economically our Community champions by training them and spreading the training to their communities during the COVID -19 Pandemic without forgetting our civil obligations.
This program is thanks to the contracts with Washington Equity Census, Arcora Foundation, and WA Census Alliance.
Virtual Campaign During Covid-19
Our community champions share their knowledge by creating a video and educating members of their community by sending phone messages.
Participants are CHWs and members of CHWCMR. Thank you to WA Equity Census, WA Census Alliance and ARCORA, each community health worker who produced the video and participant of the video received economic compensation as well as additional $150 for sending the video to 15 people in their communities: King County, Snohomish County, Pierce County, Olympia, Tri-Cities, Skagit County and Yakima among other counties.

Before the Coronavirus pandemic, CHWCRMR carried out in-person trainings in over 15 communities around WA state.
