CHWCMR awarded CHWs to conduct a series of small grants. Our first grantee propose to teach people ow to Eat Healthy, she worked with 8 families with 54 members from Skagit County to prepare a healthy food. Thanks to this project, the participating families shared healthy recipes based on fruits and vegetables that are important in the daily diet to maintain good health and the energy necessary for good learning.

This is our first CHWCMR Grant that directly supports projects that benefit our CHWs without any condition, we guide them through the process and they learn how to write a grant with their ideas about how to improve life in their community.
