CHWCMR & CHOICE

We have a partnership with the Care Connect Washington Program, this is a program provides help to those people who have tested positive for COVID-19, and consists of the delivery of personal care kits, non-perishable food kits and orders of fresh food delivered to their homes. Financial assistance is also given to pay bills such as electricity, water, telephone, others, and/or with the payment of rent or mortgage, the maximum amount of help for payments is $ 1,500 in order for isolated people to stay home. This is a program that is open to Thurston County residents. Through this program, we are helping people who as a result of COVID 19 need to stay at home to quarantine, people who let work and during that time do not receive income, this is where the $ 1500 is destined precisely to help them with their payments of services, rent or mortgage.

How does the program work?

they have to enroll in the Program, the information for registration will be left at the end of this blog, then we contact people and offer them the help we can provide, always the first thing we do is ask if they need food which is the most urgent thing we must attend and the process of financial aid is explained.

It is a great job that is done in this Program since we have the possibility of helping people who really need it, and it is very gratifying to receive their thanks for having helped them.

If you have tested positive for COVID-19 and need food or other assistance to isolate at home, please contact the COVID-19 Information Hotline at 1-800-525-0127.
