Our CHWs are trusted members of the community we serve and they have already trained to facilitate our workshops focused on Perinatal Depression.
Our Program Walking Together Workshops are facilitated by 10 CHWs under the supervision of the Program Coordinator and Lay Leaders.
Workshops in 2023
Workshop VI: The Role of CHWs and Community Intervention of Perinatal Care & Perinatal Depression Services
Five workshops were conducted during April 25, 26, 27, May 03 & 04 2023.
The workshops were facilitated by 10 CHWs under the supervision of the Program Coordinator and Lay Leaders.
There were 50 participants from 33 cities across our State of Washington.
Workshop V Culture: Knowledge, values, belief, attitude
and barriers to manage perinatal depresion
Five workshops were conducted during March 22, 23, 28, 29 & 30 2023.
The workshops were facilitated by 10 CHWs under the supervision of the Program Coordinator and Lay Leaders.
There were 56 participants from 32 cities across our State of Washington.
Workshop IV: Perinatal Post-traumatic Stress Disorder (P-PTSD)
Five workshops were conducted during Feb. 16, 20, 21, 23 & March 1rd of 2023.
The workshops were facilitated by 10 CHWs under the supervision of the Program Coordinator and Lay Leaders.
There were 42 participants from 32 cities across our State of Washington.
Five workshops were conducted during Jan. 17, 18, 19, 24 & 25 of 2023.
The workshops were facilitated by 12 CHWs under the supervision of the Program Coordinator, Lay Leaders.
There were 53 participants from 32 cities across our State of Washington.

Six workshops were conducted during Nov. 09, 16, 17, 18 & 22, 2022.
The workshops were facilitated by 12 CHWs under the supervision of the Program Coordinator, Lay Leaders.
There were 52 participants from 32 cities across our State of Washington.
Workshop I: Mental Health / Mental Health during Perinatal Depression
Six workshops were conducted during Oct. 05, 12, 13, 17, 20 of 2022.
The workshops were facilitated by 12 CHWs under the supervision of the Program Coordinator, Lay Leaders.
There were 57 participants from 27 cities across our State of Washington.
